I tried to paste a link to the Islander 36 Association but it wasn't allowed. So if you haven't found that already, try tp Google that. It came up at the top of the list for me just now.
    Good luck

Thanks Minggat, I looked all over and could not find any information on the islander 36, looks like the factory may have set the drain tube when the lower floor section was fitted to hull, I will make sure the shower water can flow from under the mast and in-to the bilge thanks

Sorry, I can only imagine. There may not need to do anything more than put a hole for whatever type drain/screen and set it in place with sealant. It all drains to the bilge, so you need to make sure that path is open.

My boat is my home, but I've only used it's shower once (don't worry, I do shower everyday). I just don't care for all extra maintenance of it in addition to shower water in the bilge. That would have meant a lot of bilge pumping when I was a livaboard in a highly visable slip.

My boat is in dry storage while I'm in Asia long term. Point is, I can't take a look to report back to you. What year is your boat?

Let me know how the project goes.- Merry Christmas, Don

Hi, My Islander 36 does not have a shower drain, It has the place for it in the floor, Its not drilled. Any ideas how I can install one? Merry x-mass
