Hello Allan... I have been reading some of your opinions on gearboxes... I have a problem with mine and I wanted your opinion about it.
I have a 13hp Vetus motor, coupled to a ZF10M gearbox. I noticed a "clunch", "noise", like when you have difficulties engaging a gear in your car... Its a metalic noise that only appears when I engage forward. First there is movement and no noise. But as I give speed, it suddenly makes this noise. It goes off after some seconds, or after heating up the gearbox with use for some minutes.
I changed the oil for a ATF oil, I tryed to work it out manually and adjust to the correct angle and none of this worked out. Do you have some idea about what I can be facing? Is there a problem to work the gearbox after the noise stop?
As you can see, my english is far from perfect. Sorry about it. I am better with Portuguese
