Mark, I noticed from your post that you own a First 27.7. I am here in the states and think about bringing one of these boats here. I am sure I can trailer it safely here, but I am not sure I could install the mast safely without a yard helping. This boat looks to have a keel stepped mast, is this true?

How difficult is it to install the mast, then take it down?

The boat seems to meet my desire for a fast, trailerable sailboat - however I wish to know if the mast raising will force me to work with specialists.
