Sailing on OP's boats is definetly the way to go especially if you don't have the time to devote to a boat. I had to let a pretty nice Formosa 35' go up for sail when I was 24 because I just didn't have the time to put into it, it needed alot of work but would've made a great cruiser/live aboard boat. Well any snow and skiing out there yet? We just got 10" today in MI so much for heading to the boat for the weekend...

Well I had to sell my boat, so I will see which boat I end up buying later on in life. for now I'm hoping to crew with some other folks so I can get more experience, and most importantly, get out there on the water.

My sister, her husband, and her five kids live over there. They own a drywall business over in WI. That really sucks about the lack of snow I bet the whole ski industry is really hurting out there then. Here in MI I got out skiing on the his they name mountains once this year. We had some great conditions though as it was in the middle of a blizzard. 20" of powder was great.

Judging from the conversation with Astrid it sounds like you may be planning for a cruise in a while. Any definite plans yet?

I'm just out here doing some general credits. Hoping to do some more sailing this summer. Sadly there's been no snow, so no skiing yet. =( What's your sister do in sheboygan?

I live in Grand Rapids MI, and sail out of Muskegon MI. I know what you mean about every chance too, it gets too the point where it can be a tad problematic for relationships! Haha at least in the past. What schooling are you doing in Utah? Getting in any good skiing? I am particularly excited for launch time this year as I bought my new boat on the hard and haven't sailed it yet! When we make it up there to visit my sister in Sheboygan WI this summer we'll have to look you up.
