Was there something wrong with the boat (44 Brewer)? I mean after the survey, it still for sale. I am new to the idea of getting a sail boat, and when i saw this boat at yachtworld.com, I liked it; So when I was googling it to see if it was a good boat, I came to your post in this forum. I was planning on seeing the boat next week, but I am far from there, so if you can tell me your opition on this boat, I would really apreciated. I am looking for a strong boat, to live on it and in the future, maybe a few years from now, travel to southamerica with my boyfriend. The boat looks very clean by the pictures, very plain too (no too many electronics, watermaker, gen, etc) But we can add those things one at time. My concern is the structure, if it has leaks, if the sails, rigs needs to be replaced, if there is any major problems that will add to expenses and delay our trip or maybe cancel it. It is a very big investment and we don't know much about sail boats.
