Hi Seaforth, I havn't had any problems since Smart Marine replaced my PVC tubes with hypalon ones, (at my cost!) The lifting handles (webbing type) failed within 6 months. They were replaced with a generic black handle (ugly but strong) I believe that Smart Marine ( 0800 805 040) are no longer agents for Walkerbay. You could give them a ring just in case though. I was never unhappy with the dinghy, just the fact that the type of PVC as used making the tubes "is" going to fail (sooner rather than later) in the NZ climate and most likely in the South Pacific area as well. I guess thats why the PVC tubes get a 1 year warranty and Hypalon gets a 5 year one.

Hi there. I've been reading some past posts and you mention having a hypalon walker bay. Just curious how it's going as our pvc tubes are on their last legs. Cheers, Adrienne.
