Hi Fueldiva... saw that you responed to the chap who was looking for advice on buying a powerboat for around $50K and noticed that you have a DeFever and are in the PNW. I spent much of my life working commercially fishing, towing logs, barges and beachcombing from the Fraser River to Alaska and owned a DeFever 54 that I bought in Bainbridge Island, cruised up Desolation Sound for 6 months before taking her to San Diego. Lived aboard her there for 6 years and cruised to Mexico a couple of times. They are wonderful, sea kindly boats, roomy and safe. Had Art DeFever aboard for dinner a couple of times... great old guy but very mad at Fleming who he insists stole his design. Hope you are enjoying life up there.
