Just found your message. In summary it's a good performing fair weather boat. After I bought it I was shocked at the poor construction. Backstay repairs that were poorly done and very poorly designed. Bulkhead to hull tabling was spotty at best. You have 6" of tabling then a 2 foot space. I should have known better that a 40' 16000 lbs boat would have had to be "chinced" somewere. It's a great fair weather boat. The bottom was completely redone by Osprey marine in Deal Md. Good luck with it.

Hi, I just bought Blue Pearl. I'd really appreciate any info you can send my way as I am now concerned now of my purchase. She seems quite neglected and after further investigation ( a couple hours) I realize my "great surveyor" was less than stellar. I'll leave it at that for now. I'd be happy to hop a on a call with you too if you'd indulge.
    Thanks
    Rocky
