Sorry, I haven't logged into this account for quite some time... Saipan has two marinas, Smiling Cove and Outer Cove, both operated by the Department of Land and Natural Resources. Outer Cove Marina has been condemned and has an almost non-existant breakwater. An RFP for a public private partnership is being drafted for publication soon, however once renovated it will likely be at capacity within months. Your draft is not an issue in Smiling Cove, however it is at capacity as well. My Formosa 51 is on a ball in the lagoon (I just dove and found an existing mooring block and attached a ball and chain... It is rough and rolly out there, but I have a typhoon permit to bring her in to Smiling Cove during storms. She weathered Typhoon Soudelor (Category 4) in Smiling Cove with little damage.
