    Tellie,
I've got a scenario I'd like you to comment on if you have the time.

I started cruising last fall and have worked my way down to Puerto Vallarta. My refurbished Gulfstream 400 is running flawlessly.

The water here is dirty so I don't want to make water from the sea.

I've devised a dock setup that I'd like your opinion on... just to make sure I'm not hurting my system.

I'm bringing dock water into my system via the service panel. Dock pressure is about 40psi.

As soon as I turn on the dock water I can hear the pistons start to shift. I then turn on both pumps. The pumps are operating at 50psi-60psi.

    Production 21gpm
    Water temp 80-85°
    Total PPM 5

I think this set up is ok. The only reason I'm concerned is that when the Clark Pump shifts, it's making a much more noticeable click on each side.

Do you have any insight or thoughts about my setup?

    Thanks!

    Adam
