My 1st boat! Ah, the Halcyon Summer of 1971. My father slapped together this contraption in an hour using canvas, rope and some branches (neo twig technology). Afaicr it developed a leak and sank some 5 minutes after the pic was taken, the happy grin in the "boat" replaced with a chagrined one from a head just poking above the surface (it was pretty shallow there). My 1st and only seawreck... (Pardon ratty quality - pic taken with a mobile.)
