Saw your posting about replacing water heater, I am looking at same project. You said it worked well using engine/heat exchanger, did it heat the water with engine at idle?
I usually anchor out and my seaward heater requires run engine under load for 45 min before it will heat up, hate to pull anchor just for that. Any recommendations appreciated.
