I was looking through a 2015 thread on buying boats in Europe, as they are cheaper. You mentioned that you had bought a boat in Thailand/Malyasia, and to PM you if I wanted more info.
We are in New Zealand and planning on going cruising when I retire in a few years. Could you provide any information on your experience of buying an ex charter boat in that region/
Like the prices, how to find the boats, ie through charter companies or are there brokers you can trust, how basic are the boats, in that what is need to bring them up to offshore cruising state.
Just starting this journey so any help would be appreciated.
