Hi airedog, congrats on your Cal 9.2! I think you both are going to enjoy it a whole lot! We didn't have any real negative experiences with ours, she was a real joy to handle, and very easy for first timers like my husband and I were. Phoenix handled the wind real well, and she was basically made for speed. You'll love her on a broad reach. The only problem was with a few blisters, but they were only about an inch and a half, so it was an easy fix. I wasn't too fond of her alcohol stove, but I learned to manage it pretty well. She had a Universal Atomic engine that was very dependable. I definitly think it was a very good purchase. Hope to see you out here soon! Till then, keep the wind in your sails.
