    Born in 1956, realistic, honest, economical. 100% reliable, single.

    Guten Tag, buenos dias and hello. My name is Alex. I’m German and I am a world traveller, also during my business years. I retired in 2010, bought a catamaran and sailed the caribbeans singlehanded for 8 years. Boat was sold to spain in spring 2023 and I am now looking for new challenges. My hobbies are motorcycling, sailing, paragliding and cooking. In 2010 I retired from work and sold my business in Germany. During my working years most times I was in sales combined with all kind of workmanship skills. I call myself autodidact as I learned most anything by myself.

    I visited following countries: Cuba (27 times includes sailing trip Martinique-SXM-Turks&Caicos-Cuba to Puerto da Vita, Holguin),
    Mexico (8 years)
    USA 9 winterseasons
    Spain 2 years
    Brazil visits 5
    Argentina 1
    Panama (5 years)
    Colombia visits 1
    Costa Rica visits 3
    Russia 2
    Caribe from St.Martin-Trinidad 8 years on own catamaran
    1 transatlantic trip Tenerife-St.Martin 1994

    Cooking onboard no problem, specially bake own bread, but its not the position I am solely looking for.

    Sailing by night ….no problem. That’s what I like.

    Purchase of another boat is possible or help to others while sailing. I am not looking for a paid position. Of course all depends on involvement.
