    I'm a self trained cook working at an upper-end restaurant in my home town of Placeville, CA. I spent a year on a lagoon 450 and crewed from France to CA via panama canal. I'm a welder by trade and a mechanic by necessity. kind of a jack of all trades type of guy. I would like to further my experience sailing with the idea of some day getting my captains license, so I'd like to sail a monohull for a bit.
    Good crew and good cooks are synonymous. We take orders from cap/chef repeat tried and true processes and give opinions only when necessary. Good communication, cutting out the bs and team work is a kind of unspoken motto in the kitchen and i think this plays well into sailing. I'm in my second semester of college spanish, along with a business course and geometry and want to find a boat for this summer 1-2 months of work starting after may 21st, the end of my semester.
