Hows the hunt going,find anything to your liking.

You're not alone. This process is new to me also. This site has some features which are not intuitive.
I've lived in Ct. all my life. I've vacationed in Fla. but I've never had a desire to relocate permanently. I've been a widower for 10 years and I'm now retired but I still love the change of seasons, although winters get a bit long. Last summer I sailed, singlehanded, to Bermuda and spent a month there. That was very enjoyable but the humidity can be oppressive. Good luck with your plans.

I am in SE FL, Hobe Sound. In between Jupiter and Stuart. There are some really great places to cruise. I cruised most of FL for 3 years and would be happy to give you some pointers.

No, I am not cruising at this time, however, as my life is kind of upside down, I am looking very seriously at the idea of cruising starting in a few months to a couple of years from now. I should know more in a couple of weeks. Even if I wait a couple of years, I will likely buy another cruising boat in a few months and live aboard. Are you interested in maybe filling a berth when I release the dock lines?
