Yeah, many people just go without being official (like us). I may hop on a cat if she decides not to take her boat. It will be nice to dip my toes in the Gulf, I miss it.

I'm going to race the leg down to PortA. Pretty sure I am going on a bene with just a girlfriend and I. Her husband may make it (hopefully) a crew of three would be better.

He he, thats the spirit! Love can overcome all obstacles. I have lived aboard for over 14 years and never met a bird like Harvey. This morning I was sporting my brand new purple umbrella, he took one look at it as I emerged from my boat and flew off as if the hounds of hell were upon him - squawking and flailing....so I gather he doesn't like purple umbrellas. I think he needs his own blog :-).

It is all very sordid isnt it . The riff raff just arrived one week ago tops, harvey has been here for three months, sue ellen for two months. Ya know, this crushes my dreams for the pitter patter of little yellow feet.

BTB, they are always together. When I see Harvey, Sue Ellen is sure to be nearby.

I think you are right Dennis! At least, Sue Ellen looks the classic BCNH but little Harvey is all dark. I did a search with your hint of heron family and came up with a Green Heron (Butorides virescens), so poor Harvey is pining for a gal (Sue Ellen) not even in his subspecies (aint that love for ya).
