Hi, Bob. Good to get your note. I am so sorry for not replying to you sooner. It has indeed been that long since I logged into Cruisers Forum. I hope my reply is still timely for you. We decided to purchase the new Leopard 40 instead. We were ready to pull the trigger on the 39 last september, but then the specs for the new 40 came out, and it had several things that were especially attractive to us. We have chartered the 39 several times, and like her very much. She was lots of fun and we found her to be very manageable in size. As you can imagine, we surveyed the field of mono and multi hulled boats for quite some time, and the Leopard 39, then 40 just seemed to fit our needs, interests and plans best. As far as we are concerned, the design and construction of the Leopards is noticeably better suited to our sensibilities than the FP, Lagoon, Catana, etc. I would love to hear more about your plans and to reply to specific questions you may have. Just drop me a line.
