    Hello,

I am looking at a Quest 33. How do you like your boat. Would you buy a Snowgoose 37 or 37 Elite instead (money not being an objection).

What is your tacking angle? How much into the wind can you sail? I was told 50 degrees, but someone else told me that with good performance sails you can do about 40 degrees; cannot believe it. Sailing close to the wind I was told that the waves slam really bad since it is hard deck between the hulls (fore).

One guy likes the Snowgoose 37. He says that the flare hulls of the Elite (similar to the Quest) slam with the waves and "stops" the boat. However, I saw one and the beths aft are basically single berths. In the Quest they are fairly wide.

    Your comments are appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Walter
