Now I see how fit all that on the boat, thought it was all with the 30'. Thanks for clearing it up.

Hi, I don't know if you are still active and still on STX, but I was reading some of your old posts on STX and I will be going there over Thanksgiving this year. I will be on a bareboat and I'm interested in visting and even staying overnight at Buck Island. I will probably use it as a jumping off point to head up to St. Thomas. I'm also interested in doing some diving there. You indicated that getting a permit is easy and I wanted to confirm that this is also the case for a bareboat. One of the requirements is to have a notarized letter from the owner specifically authorizing the permit application. This is pretty extreme and if I own a bareboat, I wouldn't want to be bothered by this sort of thing. Do you know if they really enforce that? Any other feedback you can give would be appreciated. Thanks.
