When I did the course in 1998 BOSS were the best of the bunch.


BOSS did not initially carry liability insurance when a student commanded the boat, the owner said having insurance made people careless!

However, at the time UK training were dismal and all their first class had trouble passing. I would still go with BOSS as they are probably the best.

Training out of the Solent in winter is vastly superior to any American course because of the difficulty of wind, tide and weather.
