Jumped overboard with an altemeter in my watch. It was night time so it was hard to manage. Found a sea turtle and surfed down breaking waves to catch back up to the boat. Got back aboard with a boarding wave to finish my tea before my watch was over. Other than that it was a dull night.

Hi, yes I have a YSB8. Although it looks like YSB is sideways and the SB is upright. It also looks like SB has a gear driven water pump while mine is belt driven. That aside, mine is set so pulling the throttle back to it's stop, shuts off the engine. There is a compression lever, that I use when hand starting (mine came with a hand crank). Try it once or twice a season just to see if I still have the stuff. There is a place on the decom lever that I could attach a stop cable if I desired but I had read somewhere that YSB's should not be stopped in this way. Have never had issue stopping it this way so never considered putting one in.
