    Helped my dad build a flat bottem Mandela as a boy 1965-68 18ft As a young man I built a Glen-L crackerbox w/283 Chevy engine all of 12ft. Then joined the us navy (AC/refrigeration school then aboard uss JFK and took up sailing at Norfolk sailing center . Left the navy in 84 been busy working since. Retiring Oct 2015 and wife and I plan to sail away well at least from Ca to Mexico Then?
