I am, so far, personally unfamiliar with the details of lithium systems. The reason for it is purely "editorial" in nature. I believe that the market for lithium for recreational boaters is completely overblown, and in many, if not most cases, thoroughly unwarranted. It is, in my mind, similar to what I can only term the, uhm, terminal stupidity of skippers who jumped on the AGM bandwagon before they realized the significant downsides to that technology, which primarily was the requirement for regular, often, daily if not weekly FULL recharge, which most of them failed to do, resulting in dead banks; to say nothing of improving their charging systems to take advantage of the single advantage of AGMs: ability to absorb higher charges.
