I'm not an electronics guy. It has the st6002 pilot and that may have the 0183 output, I guess you could get some sort of converter, does that make sense??

    Hi There,
Can the electronic autopilot compass that you have suggested be added to my RM 6002 system? If so does it just replace the existing Fluxgate or is there more to it than that. Thanks, Robert

I hope you and your beautiful boat are in safe anchorages. Best of luck through this storm.

I saw a post where you mention that you use a handheld VHF radio with DSC. Did you use the same MMSI number as the fixed mount radio on the boat, or did you apply for a second MMSI number? I want to be able to query my boat's radio to determine its location just as you've done.

    Thanks,

    Daniel

    Dockhead,

I followed your thread on buying new sails last October with interest. I have the same boat as Kenomac which is similar in size to yours. Tragically, like you, I am faced with the financial horror of buying a new set of sails. What was your final decision and how has it worked out?
    Thanks.

We have a similar sized Oyster 53. Just so that I can plan way ahead, approx. how much does it cost for a set of sails? Furling main, staysail and genoa. Ken

    Hi Dockhead,
Yes, if you could help me with YM editors that would be great. If they have any suggestions I will be happy to change the text.
I'll do some polishing up this weekend and send you the revised version.
It is a true story and I even left some stuff out because nobody would believe a mouse could be THAT smart!
BTW my son named it Valdemir after a friend of mine he wasn't too keen on, because it was such a pain in the ass!
    Thanks again.

    Hi Dockhead,
Thanks for your kind message about my Super Mouse. It is really nice to get some positive feedback. I am hoping to make some cash writing children's stories, so that is extremely encouraging. Yes, I'll send it to the magazine you mentioned. No harm in trying!
I was writing for a bilingual newspaper here in Brazil but rubbed some important people up the wrong way (probably no less than President Fernando Henrique Cardoso himself) with my stinging political commentaries and they "sent the boys round" to close my column!! After that I decided children's stories were much safer...
Thanks again and seeing as you say such nice things as soon as I get the art work and text of my first book together I'll send you a copy.

Can you help me? I realise I mis-spelt "starboard" in my username by accident. Is it possible to correct this?
    Thanks, Mike

It sounds like we have a lot in common. We own an Oyster 53, our residence is 3300 miles away from the boat and we live on board 5-6 months per year out of Menorca, Spain.
