Hi dpex, my name is Logan, I'm from Auckland too and I found you on here thru a google search on plastimo navi windvane and I read your story re repairs etc.
The reason I was searching is that I had some engine problems anddrifted into my neighbors ketch and dinged his windvane and broke a bit off it.
Bugger, I got a boat builder to replace the bit and glass it but it is now a bit top heavy!
I was wondering how you got on with your one. I would be very much

Hi dpex. Justa quick note on the Spectra you bought. If it has a pro-con pump it's not a 7gph unit. It's at least a 12-13 gph unit perhaps more. If it's a 220 powered unit most likely it's even more. Let me know what model it is and I'll send you all the information on it. 2K is a great price if all works well.
