Good day to you Ed, I had to replace al the marine ply that was under the teak and then glued all the teak strips down using the Gougeon Brothers method, no srews or plugs to leak anymore and has held fast for two years now. Been working on my Benmar 21R autopilot everytime I turn it on the boat points a streight cours for Hawaii. Maybe I should take the hint LOL.

Ex spud, WSvoboda ownes her now. He has taken her to a better than new level. We saved her, did a tremendous amount of work ourselves, but The current owner did the most work, including new decks, new standing rigging, new electrical, and many more things. She was, and is a great boat, and one of the best designs I have sailed.
