Thanks for the different perspective. Some folks just got to have their toys. My first sailing trip was in a 26 foot pearson with no motor and no electronics. we Sailed over 400 miles around the gulf and Fl keys. Including tacking up the snake river in the Everglades using a lead line. I'd like more input on SE in paticular I'm trying to decide on if I should try going outside to sitka from Icy straight.
