I’m just about to pull the trigger on a Lagoon 42 in BVI with Navigare on their smart-low programme. I’d be very interested in hearing how your Navigare ownership experience has been?

My first long range cruiser was just a 30 footer. We named it "Looking Glass" because it was like a portal into seeing distant places, such as Alice Through the Looking Glass".
But I kept getting ex Air Force types rowing over to the boat asking "were you in the Air Force command?" (the code name for an airborne command and control center operated by the United States)

Hah! I don't know that one. I'll have to look it up. Cheechako in NW native indian terms means "tenderfoot" or "newcomer"

I'd be very interested to hear how you get on with the investment .I realise it's a slow project ! I'm a part-time liveaboard on a monohull in Dublin , Ireland. I've trained on a catamaran and that would be my long-term choice.
