    We found a slip in Galesville, nice marina and not to expensive. It is called Hartge Yacht Marina on the West River. Has all you want and need except laundry. They allow above water work and they also have a lift with reasonable rates. Good luck

    Biography
    I was in the US Navy when I bought my beautiful Heaven Bound in Bradenton, FL. I lived aboard for three years in Key West prior to being stationed in Japan. She sat is Key West and waited patiently for my return for two years and I rarely saw her but she was a champ. For the next seven years I was stationed in Baltimore MD where I retired. During that time I saw her once a year, usually heading down for Fantasy Fest. The last year I was in Baltimore the foundation on my house was washed out by a water main break. Heaven Bound made the trip up and bailed me out in a time of need. I lived on her for another year. Upon my retirement, I couldn't afford to have her unless I was living onboard but being transient for most of 20 years, I was ready to establish roots. She was great to me and I hated to let her go but had to say goodbye in the summer of 2016. A group of avid Sailors Connecticut bought her and took her north where her adventures will continue and I'm sure she will see much better care and more use under their more capable hands. That said, I do miss her. I no longer use the forum personally and couldn't figure out how to delete the account so decided to leave this memorium.
