    OH! Bristol 35.5 is a great boat! I have the centerboard model so not so great heading into the wind, but love to sail her. thnks

    Jane, wow I am 1.5 yrs late in responding...the chainplates are very accessible....many bolts/nuts to unscrew, but just takes time as to see what I was doing required me to fit my head thru a small opening. But very doable. thnks dave
