Carl Alberg was the renowned hull desihner of the entire Cape Dory Fleet built in Tuanton MA during the 1970's & 80's. I have owned a CD 30' cutter designed by Alberg and can attest it was a fantastic boat. Alberg the manufacturer was Canadian and pre-dated the Cape Dorys. They are ll full keel cruising designs. I recommend YouTube Sam Holmes - young man sailing solo on a 28' CD. Fabulous! If you want a sea kindly boat, the Alberg is a great saiiing yacht. Narrow by today's standards but full keel and sea kindly! Great boats. Have a good survey done before buying.
