Well, sorry for the long delay in replying. This is the first time I've checked the mail here. I didn't know I was getting any.
Thank you for the introduction. I get over to the Kona side from time to time and have snowbird friends who have a place in Waikoloa. Every now and then I sail out of Honokohau on a trailerable boat.
I have friends who keep there big ketch, a Fuji 45, at or near Kemah. It has a green hull and is named Pacific Voyager. They used to do a lot of sailing here on the Big Island. They sold their Hilo home just recently and bought a place their in Texas. The Kona Sailing Club at Honokohau has a lot of racing folks so if you get there then they would welcome you. Beginners are always welcome.
