Biography

I graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in June I am interested in spending some time cruising on a sailboat. I enjoy boating and have spent a lot of time around the water since I was young on my dad's powerboats. In high school and college I raced dinghies competitively and in Santa Barbara became interested in SCUBA diving. I worked for a marine ecology lab for three years where I was active in the lab's underwater fieldwork, and participated in a Senior Honors program where I conducted my own research. Since graduating I have been traveling, and interned during the month of August at the Wrigley Marine Science Center on Catalina Island. I now work as a valet attendant and part-time as a research assistant for an ecological monitoring program.

I would like to crew on a boat (power or sail) for up to a year cruising through any interesting region of the world. Contact me if you are seeking crew for your boat.
