Biography

Born and raised on the East Coast (New Jersey) of the USA. Love pretty much everything about the water, boats, both power and sail, and fishing. Held Master's Ticket ten years. Worked selling boats, building glass boats, doing local deliveries. Worked for ten - twelve years cleaning off-shore oil spills. Due to personal circumstances, needed to have more steady, dependable work at the time and studied for and received L.P.N. License and worked in burn care unit, critical care units, and Hemo-dialysis in both New Jersey and Florida. Currently retired and living in Kansas with strong interest of getting back to the East Coast to sail, possibly extensively, possibly to live aboard. Relationship that brought me to Kansas has ended and I am trying very hard to get back to New Jersey however have wracked up debt that is being paid off which is a priority at this time however my experience is dated and would welcome an opportunity to crew on a sailing vessel for short two - three weeks at a time in order to update my knowledge/experience. I do not smoke anything and have not for many years, I don't drink, never did, I don't do any recreational drugs, don't believe in ingesting toxic substances such as drugs, alcohol, tobacco, weed, or any other type of activities or substances that will take an ugly toll on the human body at some point. I am also a person of faith as a Catholic Christian. I have no problems following directions, am dependable and trustworthy. I am hoping on my trip back to the East coast to find and purchase a sailboat being a little less than 30' - a little less than 40' that can be easily single handed. My budget and I have a budget for the boat is roughly $20,000 give or take for the boat itself, although if I can find the right boat for cruising offshore $15,000 would be more comfortable.
