I apologize for wasting your time but I`m looking for the sailboat my Grandfather built in Oregon in 1972 before I was born. She was a 36ft ferrocement Samson cshell called Moorea. I read your reply (#33) and I think you might be her owner now. I live in Japan and have jumped into sailing all at once here: bought a Yamaha 25 MKII, read forums like a madman, got out in some real wind. I`m sailing south next year through Okinawa and the Philippines, getting set up, and any link to the water, any boats interior, any persons salty story seems relevant. This story is close to my heart. I`ve heard about this sailboat my whole life and it would be amazing to know how she turned out, see the pictures, talk about sailing with you- if you have the time.
