I m in Georgetown waiting for a passage to Turks n Caicos via north of Long Island-Acklins-Mayuguana. My boat is an Oday 37 sloop.
Everywhere i read advices to wait for the weather window, but i can t find a description of this window. What in your opinion is the best weather to do this trip?

Just looked at your avatar in more detail. For weeks I've been wondering why you have a dead cat on an autopsy tray - maybe the Orisis reference, mummification perhaps?
