I saw in an older thread that you purchased a Hylas after some deliberation. What model did you end up getting? Did you find the cockpit to be "wet" compared to other boats. What have been the best and worst things about it?

Yes, those 300 mile commutes get old. I spent half time living aboard and half time in Reno for 3 years while I built sea time for my OUPV license. Home for the holidats, I'm heading back to Bodega right after New Years.

It is nice to know I'm not the only crazy retired old guy out there.
