Received your private message. The wind vane was just delivered late this week. So I can send you my impressions after unpacking it, but wont be mounting it until this Spring, about 6 months from now. I can say the Irme, the builder of my vane, was responsive and helpful throughout the ordering process. He can be found at windyselfsteering.com. Vane was $1900 brand new...shipping to connecticut, USA was $450....biggest pain was getting the money to Irme who is in Estonia. I had to open a Wise acct, transfer $$ from my bank acct to Wise acct, and then transfer $$ from there to Irme...so inconvenient, but hardly a big deal...cost to transfer $$ was minimal, I think about $25-40..message me again about April/May 2022 and will let you know what I think of mounting it...and then sailing with it. thnks dave
