Hi Sam,

I have had my L400 for about 18 months. The previous owner purchased it in 2012 from Vicsail who had used it as a demonstrator for 6 months. It is an owners version fitted with a genset but no aircon. Previous owner had installed sat TV (KVH unit mounted on Davits), an assortment of solar panels screwed directly to saloon rooftop with tech screws - wasn't happy with this, because they leaked. Have now installed one KW of panels on a SS mount off back of cockpit roof without putting an additional holes in boat.


Previous owner replaced galley benchtop with ceasarstone - looks good & is very practical. I have replaced windlass, some halyards, generator alternator, generator impeller with a run dry one. Also had new clears & cockpit canvas replaced plus cockpit seat cushions recovered.

Had one of SD input shaft seals replaced - didn't fix problem as input shaft was warn - since learned that these input shafts are made of soft metal....
