Hello Scorpius, saw your post of 2023 regarding availability of Americoat abc3 bottom paint. Are you still able to get this in B.C. Probably going to need some in the spring. I was told by Dullux that it wasnt available in Canada but the abc4 was available but with less copper content and voc restrictions

Hi Scorpius, browsing through old posts I noticed one where you described a swim ladder that swings up onto the pushpit. I'm trying to knock up something along those lines and hoped that you could share a photo of yours. Cheers. Jeremy Fowler

Good morning Captain, I was reading an old tread re Nature's Head composting toilets and saw that you a different way of handling the solids at cleanout time. Would you mind sharing that method? We have two on board..

    Fair winds,

No worries, I am also guilty of long time between messages. I did go dry exhaust but made a stack/radar platform. I just used off shelf muffled and an in line resonator. It was much quieter than I expected.
    Thanks again for the info.

Hi, I read about your exhaust. I wondered about more details, for example, do you get much noise, or smell from it? I am doing similar, and can't decide between a mast midship (which doesn't interfere with rigging) and as you describe, out the side. However, I don't have a very high deck, freeboard is low. The boat is a Colvin design, 'Doxy'. Thanks. Kristjan

    Biography
I am a widowed blue water sailor. I have the boat, the experience, and (I think) the expertise, to offshore again. Some time ago I sailed from Vancouver, BC to Florida in a four year adventure. Before and since then I have thoroughly explored the BC coast from the Washinton State border to Alaska. At the moment I am alone but would LOVE to connect with a woman who would love to share these dreams and this life with me.
