As a Former Danish Person, I am, of course, completely in accord with what you say.

Because the phrase "The wiser head gives in. And as consequence the (silly acting) apeth reigns the world." may seem a little confusing to the poor benighted souls on this forum who speak only English, and who are not versed in literature generally, I thot I'd give you the English equivalent, said by the great English philosopher and student of politics and economics Edmund Burke some 200 years ago: "All that is required for evil to prosper is that good men do nothing"

I have sailed on the tri Skip JayR is enquiring about and can give him some info and I have an email contact with the owner who purchased her in Queensland in the v early 1970S and sailed her to Western Australia. She has sailed through a severe cyclone off Brisbane in the early 70s as far as I remember. She was very sea worthy and was unscathed during the ordeal but can get fiuther detail and put you in contact with that owner if you wish. He would love to hear about his old Crowther and he met Loch in Sydney French's Forest Sydney I think.
