    Biography
Active Australian female traveller with very positive attitude to life. Retired early ( not early enough it seems!!!) at 60 after working bloody hard since 1966. I have had various jobs from galley slave to licensee of a Sports Club and Administrator of an Evening College along my way. Business owner over 30 years with my late husband. Sign Erection Company, Wholefood Café, Home Security. Last decade before retirement was working with people with intellectual disabilities and fostering wayward teenagers to keep me on my toes at home. I have now ran away to Sea to see what I can see. Was in Grande Anse, Grenada looking for a ride to St Lucia in December 2013. Ended up getting there via Bequia for the New Year. Previously I was crewing on a 36 foot Freeport ketch called Free Spirit, April 2012 to February 2013. Mainly in The Sea of Cortez, but also sailed over to Mazatlán and on to La Cruz. I have been absolutely hooked on living on the water after spending a month in The Baja in 2011 and sailing up to San Everista from La Paz on a 38foot Formosa, checking out good anchorages along the way . That inspired me to retire while the going was good! Got another opportunity and sailed in The Yasawas in June 2013 on a 39 foot Benetau. Travelling in-between, Canada, The States, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama canal, Cartagena to New Orleans. Florida, Bahamas, Jamaica, Yucatan, Peru and Bolivia in Feb 2014. Presently in Ecuador house sitting after crewing for 6 weeks out of Red Frog marina in the Bocas del Toro archipelago in Panama on Louis Kruk's racing Benetau, sv Cirque. I fly back into Panama on the 18th June and will be looking to crew again from that date. Life is so very precious, love every minute of every day. So much to see and learn.
