Youtube has quite a few cruising couples that have been sailing for years documenting their lifestyle. Sailing Uma and Tula's Endless Summer to name a few. Both of these will let you see exactly what life on board is all about. Meanwhile, chartering or finding someone to go cruising with is highly recommended. When you are not sailing, youtube can take you all over the world on other peoples boats. I've been sailing 40 years and still watch these videos.
