I found your detail on cruisersforum in a thread where two yachts were compared and I hope you dont mind me contacting you.

I am interested in obtaining a yacht in 50 -60ft range and the Nexus 600 (now called a Balance Catamaran 601) caught my eye.

I have made contact with the builders in St. Francis who also introduced me to Alan Harrington whom you may have had contact with. Alan is also Nexus 600 owner and is very happy with his boat.

I had just wondered if I could ask you a couple of questions seeing as you had one of the first Nexus yachts and have had more time experience it.

I thought I recognised it! I was at 2 oceans in November, and saw it there. Looked really nice. I have just ordered a boat at 2oceans. The plan is to have it ready by October next year. It's the boat pictured on my avatar. My own design, a 49 ft bi-rig job. Can you give me some feedback on how you feel the build went, and the quality? Are you happy? What do I need to look out for?

Lovely boat. Did you use a yard in SA? If so, who? Where can I find some specifications on this boat?
