Only other 53' I have seen was in Maryland and the boat was being rehabbed and had a long way to go.

Someone wrote about the 53' "Built like a tank and sails like a stallion".

There is no owners association but it would be a good idea to start one.

There's a nice looking Pearson 53 with a 7ft keel at the York River Yacht Haven on Chesapeake Bay owned by Tom and Marilou. OP would have to get their contact information from the marina.

I’m looking for the Pearson 530 Hull #6. The boats original owner is my Grandfather and I sailed on the boat when I was young.

It’s original name was the Kakin but the second owner changed its name and he could not remember what it was changed to. He’s now in his 90s.

He has tons of photos of the boat and I offered to try to find out where it is now.

I’m curious if anyone in this group knows where Hull #6 is now and what the boats new name is?

That is one nice looking boat!
It is an exclusive bunch if you boat is known by name rather than hull number.

Hi! I would love to learn some first hand knowledge regarding the p530. I was wondering if there were any “ known issues” that affect these boats. Ie: chain plate failure. Also is there very severe hull slap in the aft cabin with the slight curve of the keel in to the transom. Thanks you for any knowledge you can share.
