I mean, after 3 days and no offer, I would give up too.
3 days and NO offers???? what a crime for his perfect little jewel. you sailboat buyers must feel bad. Take another look, I am sure that it is worth every penny he wants. WHAT is wrong with you people.... don't you know a good deal when you see one???

Well I just sold my 33 O/I in two days and got what I wanted, not to mention I found the best way is showing the boat while we were still living aboard, and giving the persons a walking information of the vessel and its equipment. I would say if it was near us in Toronto, know of a few who are looking for liveaboard vessels. We have setup to a 42 CC.

Snarky and platitudnous? Have you read any of yours and others replies?
I have re-read the OP's post and only see a guy that is trying to sell his boat. I suppose it's easy to make conclusions for black letters on a white screen as to a person being this way or that. Maybe you should buy his boat and then you would have one.
...opps...that was snarky, wasn't it.

Celestial, I don't want to get into a p!ssing match with you.

First of all you are a consistent and valuable contributor to the forum. I disagree with your perspective on this thread.

There are many examples of boats for sale that include great pictures of inside and outside, include an equipment list and include recent maintenance or upgrades.

This one has none of that.

I, and others, have offered the OP some friendly advice. His comebacks were less than gracious. He was a first time poster and may not have been aware of some of the steps others take to market their boat. Rather than taking advise, he hasn't even followed up on his OP statement of "Will post more pictures soon."

But then, there are a lot of boats out there to look at that have better information to make a decision if one should contact the owner/broker.

Re: 1972 Morgan Out Island 41

Anyone who is interested can PM the guy and probably get all you want. If you are not ready to buy what difference other than to satisfy your curiosity?

Seems like a lot of negative energy for no return.

Many were actually trying to assist the OP in his marketing quest.

Now, contrast his attempt as a new poster to market his boat, to this, also a new poster who listed his O'Day 37.

Night and day, and I suspect all can guess which one will get more inquiries.

Right but if the OP wasn't asking for "assistance" why be negative towards him when he doesn't respond to it?

It's his boat. He can do as he pleases I would think.

First off I have no dogs in this race. That boat is in Jackson Mississippi on the Ross Barnett Reservoir a man made lake. It is approx 180 miles from the Gulf coast. Looks like a nice boat.

Re: 1972 Morgan Out Island 41

I would like to sincerely apologize to all on this forum, especially the OP. My comments in post #12 were snide and uncalled for. No excuse for it other than being an ass. I'm sure Bluzeskies boat will make someone very happy and I wish him all the luck in the world in a quick and profitable sale.

Re: 1972 Morgan Out Island 41

This was my dream boat! Almost made it out of Ft. Lauderdale, headed to Bimini in 1978 on a chartered one. I think it was around 11:00 PM when approaching a draw bridge the shifter would not come out of drive, hit the draw bridge, broke the forestay, bent the mast, boom cracked the captain in the head, knocked him out, yacht broker had to tow it away from the bridge and have a crane grab hold of the mast before it twisted and broke through the crack at the base. Got another boat and made it to Bimini the next day.

I would have bought this boat, until I walked on a catamaran and bought that.

Re: 1972 Morgan Out Island 41

Also try posting good videos on youtube so you have links to show people. I have sold many of my boats in the past with VCR tapes before the internet.

If you are trying to get someone to drive a 1000 miles to look at your boat they need more then a few photos to determine if they want to travel that distant.

I live in Fla and sold boats to people as far west as Colorado.
