Description: IMCI is a European Union based, independent, non-profit organisation committed to adding value to worldwide recreational craft industry by assessing compliance of companies, products, services and experts with the highest recognised standards of quality and safety.
The customers of IMCI will be able to display the CE-mark on products which are covered by the Recreational Craft Directive 94/25/EC as amended by Directive 2003/44/EC. This allows the free and open access to all 27 countries of the European Union.
Saving money. Working on a cost-conscious basis is an important point. The non-for-profit status of IMCI combined with a lean and effective administration makes it possible to provide our certification service for an excellent cost-benefit ratio. It replaces the expensive and often cumbersome individual country homologation process.
